Abstract submission starting December 1st 2008
Deadline for oral communication abstract: March, 16th 2009
Deadline for poster abstract: April 30th 2009

Poster acceptance will be notified by May 15th 2009

Late poster acceptance will be notified in June, after receipt of the registration fees of the corresponding registered author.

In order to avoid any disappointment in the character and text layout, as well as make easy the preparation of the book of abstracts, the preferred and only format for the one-page abstract submission to DFT09 is .pdf.
Some files are provided to help you write down your abstract. These files are similar in content (showing some information on DFT09, presented in the format and layout of the abstract, with some instructions such as character styles). You can download them below, according to your needs. In any case, your abstract should look like the PDF examples provided.

For MS Word or Open Office users: abstract DFT09.doc can be used For LaTeX users: abstract DFT09.tex can be used Please respect the left/right margins, the character types and sizes indicated in the text and any other formatting option. Before submitting, you must convert your document to PDF.

A file maximum size of 5 Mb is preferred for submission.

Once your PDF file is ready, please rename it using the following convention: SMITH_John.PDF, John SMITH being the presenting author.

Only ONE abstract submission per registered person is possible.
Poster acceptance will be notified by e-mail to the author by May 15th,2009.
Abstracts will be definitively accepted after reception of the payment of the registration fees.
